Ana Barbara was born Altagracia Ugalde Mota on 10th of January, 1971 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She has not shared enough detail on her past life, parents, and academic background. Though, she was interested in singing and performing since she was a little kid.
Barbara began her career by competing at the local Miss Universe beauty pageant, where she represented her native state. She was able to win the beauty pageant.
